Job Description:

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. You will work closely with our members and providers to resolve issues related to claims status, benefits, and eligibility, PPO participation, and other related matters. Your primary goal will be to provide a differentiated service experience that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle incoming calls from members and providers regarding claims status, benefits, and eligibility, PPO participation, and other related matters

  • Maintain department-established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level
  • Work together as a team and apply the arenaflex Core Values in day-to-day operations
  • Create a differentiated service experience by providing solutions to constituent needs
  • Demonstrate service discipline by handling service challenges with professionalism and poise
  • Work across boundaries to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

* High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience

  • Experience in a production environment, preferably in a call center or customer service setting
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex problems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Call center and medical terminology/insurance experience

  • Experience in a production environment, preferably in a call center or customer service setting
  • Education in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business
