Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare administration team by accurately and efficiently entering information into our maintenance history database, auditing paperwork, and completing other administrative tasks. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Enters information taken from Equipment Repair Orders and enters into the maintenance history database (Repair Tool)

  • Audits paperwork and input for inaccuracies and missing information, following up and correcting any records as necessary
  • Enters information into other online databases
  • Completes any necessary filing
  • Responsible for ordering materials and supplies via multiple online ordering systems, following up on missing or delayed shipments
  • Ability to train new Data Entry Clerks, advise less experienced staff, and provide backup assistance when necessary
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor

Minimum Required Qualifications

* Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required

  • At least five years related experience is required

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

* Basic knowledge of personal computer operations

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Physical Demands

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
