Litigation Associate

They are seeking an associate with 1-2 years of experience to join their expanding Litigation team, where the candidate will support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation.
Responsibilities
- Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues
- Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
- Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Thrive in a collegial, fast-paced environment with opportunities for early responsibility and direct client interaction
Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in litigation
- Excellent writing, research and analytical skills
- Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues
- Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
- Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
