Job Summary

As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for obtaining necessary information from clients after an insurance application is submitted to an insurance carrier. You will work closely with our Performance Manager to ensure accurate and timely communication with clients, while maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of integrity. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to complex scenarios will be essential in providing optimal solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Obtain necessary information from clients after an insurance application is submitted to an insurance carrier

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client needs and focusing on optimal solutions
  • Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of integrity
  • Work independently, adapting quickly to change and utilizing strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Utilize company-provided computer and telephony systems to communicate with clients and team members
  • Maintain accurate records, writing, and grammar skills
  • Collaborate with the Performance Manager to ensure seamless communication and resolution of client needs

What You Need for this Job

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • 1 year+ of customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, specifically when on the phone using a headset
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows setting, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet access
  • Understand and utilize company-provided computer and telephony systems
  • Excellent communication skills to use throughout all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable and competent in both written and oral communications
  • Results-driven attitude
  • Focus on details, accuracy, and client resolution
  • Possess accurate record keeping, writing, and grammar skills

Job Type and Schedule

* Temporary position, working full-time hours from home

  • 8.5 hour shift, Monday-Friday, with some weekend possibilities
  • Starting at or after 12pm EST (11am CST, 10am MDT, 9am PDT)
  • Evening shift required
