Pharmacy Business Support Internship

The Pharmacy Business Support Internship involves collaborating with various teams to optimize processes, develop procedures, and support product rollouts within the pharmacy domain.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day experiences of collaboration and partnership with various leaders and teams; focus on small scale deliverables, building interpersonal relationships, exposure to cross divisional elements of the Wellmark organization
- Conduct side by sides with Pharmacy Business Support team to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize processes. Assist with development of desk level procedures and process maps to support recommendations
- Work closely with Pharmacy Business Support Seniors and Leads to develop a process to analyze call data and feedback loops to identify pain points in pharmacy-related inquiries
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Business Support Leads to develop a benefits guide and process for continual adds for new benefits
- Assist with current Pharmacy Business Support product rollout
Skills
- Current junior, senior or grad student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Process Management, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Analytics or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate recommendations to all levels of the organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships of collaboration and trust
- Strong organizational skills, self-starter, ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Previous experience creating business process maps or flow charts
- Prior experience in healthcare or previous internship or office experience
