[Remote] Community Health Internship
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northwell Health is a prominent healthcare provider, and they are seeking a Community Health Intern. The intern will assist in data collection, evaluate departmental operations, and support management in new initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department
- Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures
- Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor level or graduate level program majoring in public health, health administration, pre-med, business, psychology, nursing or related major
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting
