Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world’s manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. They are seeking an enthusiastic engineering student to assist with embedded firmware development, including coding in C/C++, debugging, testing on target hardware, and documenting results.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with embedded firmware development
  • Coding in C/C++
  • Debugging
  • Testing on target hardware
  • Documenting results

Skills

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Must be enrolled for at least one semester after the internship concludes
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign
  • Preference given to students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation in the past
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Basic computer programming (C++, C, Python)
  • Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming
  • Previous experience with Industrial Automation products
  • Experience using Agile methodology
