Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. If you're passionate about delivering compassionate care and have a knack for resolving complex customer needs, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
• Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
• Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
• Communicating and collecting copay amounts
• Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams
• Screening, identifying, resolving, and deferring orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
• Collaborating with internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone
• One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
• One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
• Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Schedule and Location

* Must reside in Florida and within 75 miles of the Specialty location at 9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819

• Available work schedules: 11:30am - 8pm EST and 12:30pm - 9pm EST

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive pay range: $17.00 - $25.65 per hour
