ANALYST INVESTMENT - RI
Pathway Capital Management, LP is a leading institutional investment management firm seeking an Investment Analyst to join their Providence office. The role involves analyzing potential investment opportunities and monitoring client portfolios, working closely with senior and mid-level professionals on due diligence teams.
Responsibilities
- Performing quantitative and qualitative reviews of potential private markets fund investments
- Supporting in-depth, rapidly moving underwriting of potential direct equity, direct credit, and secondary investments
- Conducting analysis to support the due diligence process, including analyzing financial statements of private markets partnerships, reviewing partnership portfolio company valuations, and assessing relative performance
- Participating in meetings with fund managers
- Supporting Pathway’s client servicing efforts, including preparing client reports and presentations
- Assisting with special reporting, research, and due diligence projects on an ad hoc basis
Skills
- Analytical experience in investment banking, consulting, audit, investment management, or other similar fields (including internships)
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, business economics, or related field with a record of high academic achievement
- A strong interest in investments and capital markets
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful
- Self-motivated with the ability to focus on multiple tasks and deliverables
