Transworld Business Advisors of Cincinnati is a part of the largest provider of full-service business brokerage and franchise consulting services in the world. The Business Broker role involves prospecting and building relationships with business owners, managing transactions, and supporting franchise buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, call, meet with, and build relationships with small and medium-sized business owners
  • Assist with preparing their business to be confidentially listed
  • Manage the transaction for the buyer screening, offer, due diligence, and closing processes (typically 6–12-month process)
  • Council and support prospective franchise buyers find and purchase the right franchise based upon their goals, skills, financial ability, and earning expectations
  • Help successful local businesses scale their business through becoming a franchisor
  • Collect financial information, analyze the data, and assign a valuation to businesses
  • Coordinate with business owners and our third-party partner to assist with launching steady and consistent business growth to maximize future valuation
  • Must maintain clean and organized communication, project management, and administrative standards throughout the process
  • Expected to help others on the team with any other tasks as requested

  • With the right personal qualities, there is no specific experience necessary. However, ideal previous experience would include at least one of: Sales, Business Brokerage, Franchising, Franchise Ownership, Insurance Sales, Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking, Real Estate, Financial Advisor, CPA, Attorney, Small Business Owner, Engineering, General Management, Executive, Business Development, Relationship Management and Development, Information Systems, or Project Management
  • Must travel to South Florida for one week of corporate training. Candidate will pay for own flight, accommodations, and training fees. Will be 100% reimbursed for all major expenses after first successful transaction
  • Must invest ~$110/month for software, IT, and CRM costs ongoing to be deducted quarterly via direct deposit. Must invest in ongoing print marketing materials for prospecting (~$50/month)
  • Must invest in small quarterly subscription fee (~$250) for scheduled postings
  • Must use personal laptop, cell phone, and transportation to conduct daily business
  • Full time schedule and effort. Must work some weekends to prospect at time(s) of your choosing
  • A sales, business, finance, or real estate background (preferred but not required)
  • Bachelor's degree or other advanced degree is preferred but not required
