[Remote] Help Desk Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a premier provider of high-tech IT solutions to the federal government IT market. They are seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the Administrative Office of United States Courts, providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software both in person and through the use of remote access tools
• Provides end-user software and hardware troubleshooting
• Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
• Assists in the administration of e-mail, Microsoft office, etc
• Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites
• Create, monitor, and resolve customer Request and Incident tickets
• Familiar with the Windows 10 operating system
• Position is full time remote so your home work environment must be setup to receive customer calls through your work computer. Strong consistent internet connection and no back ground sound inference from your home environment
• Have a positive and professional manner
• Able to remain calm in stressful situations and deescalate customer frustrations
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

Skills

• HS Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of related experience
• End Users, Help Desk Support, Technical Support
• Familiar with the Windows 10 operating system
• Strong consistent internet connection and no background sound interference from your home environment
• Have a positive and professional manner
• Able to remain calm in stressful situations and deescalate customer frustrations
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
