Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell air journeys to the traveling public or freight forwarders
  • Provide assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance
  • Interpret authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international journeys or shipment shipments
  • Meet and dispatch aircraft within set-up times
  • Provide assistance to troubled passengers and clients
  • Protect company properties and revenue
  • Ensure a safe journey for all passengers
  • Possess the physical capability and dexterity to apply motor skills to perform diverse job-related duties
  • Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period
  • Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations
  • Follow internal/external regulations and procedures
  • May be required to drive and operate air stairs to enplane and deplane passengers
  • Responsible for the overall performance within the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees
  • May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication as well as Tower functions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Bilingual language skills are required in some locations
  • Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to privileges to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must report to work on a regular and timely basis

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Prior customer service experience in the airline or travel industry
  • Knowledge of air travel regulations and procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
