Job Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Call Center Representative to join our team in Orlando, USA. As a call center representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer inquiries, performing patient enrollment, and utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of $25/hour and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system, utilizing arenaflex's prescription information section methods and rules.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Manage communication with patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
  • Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Make phone calls to payers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations, and recognize and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print reports, and access information online).
  • Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Moderate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
