Job Overview

The Team Leader – Retail & Concessions is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily retail and concession operations to deliver a seamless guest experience. The role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting operational excellence, including participation in the Duty Manager Program.

In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Oversee daily retail shop operations, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, promotions, and merchandising standards.
  • Manage retail kiosk(s) to ensure optimal guest experience and smooth operations.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of the Retail POS system.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining departmental SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, train, coach, and monitor the performance of the retail and concessions sales team.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, staying informed of industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in the Duty Manager Program and deputize for the Manager – Retail & Concessions when required.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and monitoring of departmental financial performance.
  • Design and deliver effective sales training and development programs.
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Management Team.

About you

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within leading attractions or theme parks.
  • Proven experience managing a multicultural team.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Inventory management and stock control experience.
  • Experience in retail store openings and POS systems preferred.
