Job Overview

In this key role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for customer and vendor contracts, pricing, rebates, billing, and chargebacks. You will also be involved in developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts, ensuring that all contracting and pricing strategies are aligned with our overall business objectives. As a senior-level professional, you will bring a high level of expertise and knowledge to our team, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer customer and vendor contracts, including pricing, rebates, billing, and chargebacks, to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Develop and negotiate customer and group purchasing contracts to drive business growth and revenue
  • Manage local contract pricing life cycle, including creation, maintenance, and expiration, for assigned territory
  • Address all pricing and GPO tiering customer requests, create contract summaries, and route through Apttus for new or renewing contracts
  • Submit SalesForce.com cases for analytic requests and assist sales teams in navigating needs and requests
  • Assist in RFP responses and cross-references to ensure timely and effective responses
  • Participate in the development of business strategies and pricing guidelines as requested
  • Fix basic network issues and run basic reports on network health to ensure system efficiency

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A college or university degree in a related field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting
  • Senior-level experience in contract administration, pricing analysis, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of contract and order processes and systems, including Apttus and SalesForce.com
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Advanced degree in a related field, such as an MBA or Master's in Finance
  • Professional certification in contract management or a related field
  • Experience working in the medical devices industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in contract administration and pricing analysis
