Job Summary

As an Entry Level Legal Assistant in our Title Department, you will play a critical role in supporting our team's day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive desktop reviews, updating internal systems, exercising confidentiality and professionalism, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities

* Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, based on predetermined Key Performance Indicators pertaining to the delivery of quality legal services

  • Ensure all internal systems are updated with documentation, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to our organization's strict standards
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements as applicable
  • Handle steps in the client systems, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Order Title reports and taxes based on client requirements, meeting deadlines and expectations
  • Prepare packages for mailing, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency

Essential Qualifications

* Some collateral experience or knowledge of mortgage documents is recommended, but not required

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., paralegal studies, business administration, etc.)

  • Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control are strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong desire to progress within an organization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
