Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Product Team and help ensure the quality of Tuotempo’s products through the design, implementation and execution of tests. You’ll report to our QA Manager and work closely with developers, product managers and designers in a dynamic, international environment. You can work remotely from anywhere in Italy or from our office in Bologna. What will you do?

  • Ensure that our products and applications work correctly;
  • Assess software quality through manual functional tests;
  • Execute test cases and be able to prepare detailed report results;
  • Evaluate product compliance according to acceptance criteria based on specification;
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams;
  • Conduct testing before release / and post-implementation testing;
  • Designing, developing test protocols for automated E2E testing;
  • Have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude to overcome technical and process challenges;
  • Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications

What we’re looking for (must have):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field
  • At least 2 year of professional experience as a software tester/engineer.
  • Experience writing automated tests (e.g. using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks)
  • Excellent ability to document and troubleshoot errors;
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities;
  • Curious, proactive, and collaborative attitude;
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English;
  • Understanding of object-oriented concepts;
  • Knowledge of Google Suite;

Bonus points (nice to have):

  • Knowledge of Javascript

  • Online test – a short practical exercise to get a first sense of how you approach QA tasks.
  • HR interview – a friendly chat to get to know you, your motivations, and tell you more about Tuotempo, our culture, and the team.
  • Technical interview – with our QA Manager, including a practical exercise to evaluate your hands-on approach and problem-solving skills as a tester.
  • Final Technical interview – with our Head of Front end, including an assessment of E2E testing developing.
