About the Role: Part-Time Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our K-12, College, and Early Careers Team on a part-time remote basis. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a vital role in building robust and diverse pipelines, exposing students to career opportunities at Southwest Airlines, and driving the success of our talent acquisition strategies. This is a collaborative role that requires partnering with various Teams, including Recruitment Marketing, Communications, Ground Operations, Technology, and Technical Operations. Key Responsibilities: Construct, administer, and analyze player surveys to measure experience, potential to meet targets, return on investment, and other key metrics to report progress to Leadership. Create and deliver distinct project proposals, including targets, deliverables, scope, timing, milestones, communication strategies, and duties using benchmarking, industry research, and gathering input from identified Stakeholders. Define program targets and requirements that support the talent strategy, initiate program setup, establish and implement program management plans, monitor program outcomes, and develop sustainability measures. Design, develop, and facilitate high-impact and interactive events, programs, and learning solutions by partnering with subject matter experts to support the development of program participants and maximize learner participation, comprehension, and application of the material. Generate, administer, and analyze player surveys to measure participant experience, training effectiveness, and key metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust programs where appropriate. Identify program gaps and opportunities for growth by documenting processes, recommending improvements, and sharing best practices to ensure the continued success of program initiatives. Manage risks associated with program planning by identifying and forecasting pertinent issues, assessing, and recommending solutions, and implementing the proper course of action. Support Team Members in developing reporting metrics, dashboards, graphics, and analytics to monitor, analyze progress, and effectively deliver analysis and results to organizational Leaders. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A strong background in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and Teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation. Proficiency in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Preferred Qualifications: To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience working in the aviation or travel industry. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI). Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices. Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Asana, Trello, Agile). Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Strategic thinking: The ability to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives. Collaboration and teamwork: The ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including internal Teams and external partners. Communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively with various audiences. Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform talent acquisition strategies. Adaptability and flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and requirements.
