Public Relations Manager (U.S.Market) (m/f/x)

Skeleton's Government Affairs & Communications department is looking for a driven and experienced Public Relations Manager (m/f/x) to elevate Skeleton Technologies’ presence across top-tier U.S. publications and technology media—especially in the context of our cutting-edge Graphene-based energy storage solutions for AI and GPU-intensive data centers. You will be the driving force behind our media outreach, storytelling, and public image in the U.S., acting as both a strategist and executor. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how we are perceived in one of the most critical and innovative markets globally. Your responsibility areas:

• Media Relations: Be the primary point of contact for U.S. media outlets. Proactively pitch stories, manage inbound media requests, and build lasting relationships with journalists in tech, business, and energy verticals.
• Strategic Content Creation: Craft compelling press releases, bylined articles, thought leadership pieces, and media briefings that align with brand and product positioning.
• Storytelling & Brand Voice: Develop and maintain a consistent brand narrative tailored for the U.S. market. Ensure messaging consistency across all communication channels.
• Spokesperson Duties: Represent Skeleton Technologies as a spokesperson at media events, press briefings, and conferences. Prepare senior leadership with talking points, media training, and briefing documents.
• Partnership Comms: Collaborate with key customers and partners on joint announcements and use case storytelling.
• Public Speaking Opportunities: Identify, secure, and manage speaking engagements and panel opportunities for executive leadership.
• Event Participation: Support communications at major industry events and public engagements to increase brand visibility.
• Performance & Reporting: Track media coverage and PR impact. Provide quarterly analysis and insights to guide strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, media, or corporate communications—preferably in tech, energy, or B2B environments.
• Proven success in securing coverage in top-tier U.S. publications (e.g., Wired, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, WSJ, etc.).
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, data centers, AI infrastructure, or deep tech sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible narratives.
• Confident spokesperson with experience speaking on behalf of a company or preparing others to do so.
• Deep network of media contacts in tech, business, and energy.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
