We are seeking a motivated Blockchain Security Engineer to join a cutting-edge Web3 team focused on securing decentralized systems and smart contract ecosystems. In this role, you will contribute to blockchain security audits, vulnerability assessments, and the development of internal security tools. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and decentralized infrastructure while actively participating in research and threat analysis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technology, looking to grow their expertise in security engineering. You will support high-impact projects that help protect billions of dollars in digital assets while advancing your professional skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Accountabilities

  • Conduct audits and code reviews of smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in guided security research, exploring new attack vectors, and delivering actionable insights to the team.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of internal security tools and frameworks.
  • Support improvements to internal processes, methodologies, and service offerings, ensuring high-quality delivery for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the security posture of blockchain platforms and decentralized technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Security.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, including smart contracts (EVM chains, Solana, Move, etc.) and blockchain protocols (nodes, SDKs, Cosmos, etc.).
  • Experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Rust, Go, Solidity, Python, or similar.
  • Strong interest and understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystems.
  • Preferred: Academic or practical background in Cryptography or Cybersecurity.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience in security audits, bug bounties, or participation in attack contests or audit challenges.
