About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chat Representative to join our team of music lovers at blithequark. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll play a vital role in assisting fans with their queries, resolving issues, and providing an exceptional experience through our ticketing system. If you're passionate about music, have a strong technical background, and excel in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them with professionalism and care
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
  • Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation
  • Manage multiple chats simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Accurately document all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
  • Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers, escalating them to management as needed
  • Multitask using multiple systems, skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, maintaining punctuality and attendance at scheduled times
  • Be flexible and open to cross-training as requested, adapting to changing business needs

Essential Qualifications

  • A genuine love for music, with a strong knowledge of current artists and trends in the Pop and Country genres
  • 1-3 years of call center chat experience, with technical experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems is a definite plus
  • Ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently
  • Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and excellent grammar
  • Ability to work independently, utilizing resources to resolve customer issues effectively
  • Understanding of contact center support metrics and ability to implement actions for improvement
  • Previous work-from-home experience is preferred, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively

  • Technical experience with various software applications and systems
  • Experience in the music industry or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
