Job Summary

As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and clients seeking support and information about our healthcare services. You'll be responsible for responding promptly to customer inquiries via telephone and electronic channels, engaging with customers in a professional manner, and ensuring their issues or inquiries are resolved by the end of the call. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Serving as the first point of contact to support patients on pre-test queries, responding promptly to customer inquiries via telephone (inbound and outbound) and electronic channels regarding requests from prospective patients to know the test cost if they decide to process it.
  • Engaging with customers/patients in a professional manner while actively listening to them, ensuring their issue or inquiry has been resolved by the end of the call.
  • Responsible for day-to-day work and adherence to process flows, ensuring compliance per client agreement and SOP.
  • Supporting and/or triaging respective customer technical issues.
  • Triage and/or scheduling clinical inquiries to/for Genetic Counseling staff.
  • Participating in cross-functional and cross-business process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Schedule

You'll work a hybrid schedule and report to our Plano, Texas office. Operational hours are Monday through Friday – 7am-7pm CST – with varying shifts available within operational hours. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in handling customer/patient contact center support projects.
  • High School graduate or GED; 2-4 years undergraduate degree or certificate is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a positive, professional tone, voice, and demeanor.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suites apps (drive, Gmail, g-docs, g-sheets).
  • Experience in using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously, with keyboard skills and the ability to enter data with accuracy.
  • Multi-lingual skills (Spanish) are a strong plus.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for blithequark's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of blithequark's applicable plans.
