About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst – IT, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable insights that inform business decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure that our data-driven insights are actionable and impactful. Your expertise will help us optimize our web and cloud applications, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and develop actionable insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, product management, and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data-driven insights are actionable and impactful
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data science
- 3+ years of experience in online business stage development
- Experience with BI tools, such as PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills, with experience working with large datasets
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, such as Informatica or Talend
- Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
Skills and Competencies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills, with experience working with large datasets
