The Role

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data pipelines are scalable, efficient, and reliable. You'll work closely with our engineering, product, and data science teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights and inform our decision-making. You'll be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and AWS Glue
• Designing and implementing data models and architectures that meet the needs of our business stakeholders
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs
• Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity through data validation, testing, and debugging
• Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and applying that knowledge to improve our data infrastructure

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A strong background in data engineering, with experience working with large datasets and complex data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and SQL
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Hadoop
• Strong understanding of data modeling and architecture, with experience designing and implementing data solutions that meet business needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and develop creative solutions
