Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and organized Customer Service & Remote Virtual Assistant to join our US Healthcare Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and assembling medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital and medical facility policies, and providing exceptional support to our clients. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service & Remote Virtual Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensuring medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation, adhering to hospital and medical facility policies
  • Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's medical record
  • Preparing and sending all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
  • Monitoring the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with clients
  • Complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission
  • Performing other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or healthcare-related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare software a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations
  • Certification in medical records or healthcare-related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
