Job Summary

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' patient billing and customer service needs. You will work as an extended business office representative, communicating with patients and their families to explain medical bills, answer questions, and resolve account balances. Your exceptional customer service skills, empathy, and attention to detail will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients and their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing medical bills.

  • Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to create affordable payment plans and take payments by phone.
  • Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, utilizing your computer proficiency and organizational skills.
  • Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
  • Continuously improving, with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads, and ongoing training.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in healthcare billing or customer service.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* Competitive base annual pay ranging from $37,440 to $43,680 based on prior experience.

  • Monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100 to $400.
