The Role
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – E-commerce Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers across various channels. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling customer service tickets of all tiers for our clients, including phone support for some clients
- Providing excellent customer service over the phone, in writing, and through various digital channels
- Working within client platforms, including ticketing systems like Kustomer, Gorgias, and Zendesk, which we will provide training for (Experience preferred but not required)
- Answering customer service tickets in a timely fashion while maintaining high-quality standards
- Completing basic administrative tasks as required by clients
- Maintaining a reliable internet connection to ensure seamless communication with clients and customers
What We Look For
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualities:
- Excellent English language skills, which will be tested through writing samples and shared with clients as needed
- Some experience in customer-facing roles, although not necessarily in customer service specifically
- A genuine interest in the e-commerce space and a desire to learn more about it
- The ability to answer multiple inquiries across various channels, including email, social media, live chat, and phone
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, including dealing with disgruntled customers
- Availability to work within US time zones (PST, CST, EST)
