Responsibilities

As a Trip Assignment Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Assigning trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system, ensuring that approximately 700-900 trips are completed each night
• Building dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Stacking trips to contracted Care Partners, ensuring that members receive the transportation services they need
• Answering inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
• Coordinating evening trips as they come in, working closely with dispatchers and Care Partners to ensure timely and safe transportation
• Assisting with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing
• Assisting with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing timely and effective support to our members and Care Partners

Requirements

To be successful as a Trip Assignment Specialist at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, with a strong understanding of transportation logistics and scheduling
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
• Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday (11:30pm to 8am PT)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dispatchers, Care Partners, and members
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Health-E Rides and Zendesk, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
