Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details, correcting errors, and organizing the data in a way that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases, ensuring data is backed up and easily retrievable.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and taking corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to facilitate efficient retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties from time to time, as required by the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
