Job Summary As a Senior Gear Engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our Art, Layout, and Engineering teams to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process.
• Working with the team to generate candidate solutions, weighing tradeoffs given the hassle context and development timeline, implementing the selected answer, and promoting the adoption of the solution by the team.
• Assisting, developing, and preserving blithequark's existing set of engine-specific and custom gear used daily.
• Proactively identifying inefficiencies and elaborating areas for improvement across disciplines.
• Maintaining, extending, and aiding present development gear.
• Building and guiding custom asset pipelines.
• Growing blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures.

Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Must-Haves

• A strong passion for empowering others to excel in their roles.
• Experience with the overall device lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Proficiency in operating with custom standalone gear.
• Enjoyment of growing gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment.

Nice-to-Haves While not essential, the following qualifications would be a significant advantage:

• Experience with custom game engines.
• Proficiency in Unreal or Unity.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Net Tech.
