As a Customer Service Coordinator at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. You'll be the go-to expert for all things travel, from booking flights to resolving issues and providing exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
* Advance and sell air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders
- Provide assistance with passenger check-in and baggage handling
- Interpret government regulations and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments
- Meet and dispatch aircraft within established times
- Provide support to distressed passengers and customers
- Safeguard company property and revenue
- Ensure safe travel
- Utilize coordinated skills to perform various job-related tasks
- Apply hierarchical skills to complete multiple tasks within a limited timeframe
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Answer and assist during security and crisis situations
- Follow internal/external policies and procedures
- May be required to drive and work air stairs on various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers
- Responsible for the overall performance within the workspace and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees
- May be required to perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication, as well as Tower capabilities
All You'll Need for Success
* Least Capabilities Training and Earlier Professional training
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills required in certain areas
- Valid substantial driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must meet FAA criminal background checks to meet requirements for unescorted access awards to airport security identification presentation areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain suitable airport power and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable
- Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to answer to manage on an ordinary and convenient basis
