About the Role

As a Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buyers and sellers have a positive and seamless experience on our platform. This will involve interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing expert support to address any questions or concerns they may have. You will become an expert in blithequark's product, processes, and systems, and work collaboratively with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with buyers and sellers via email and/or chat services to provide exceptional customer support and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to payments, orders, shipments, and general questions, ensuring a positive outcome and high customer satisfaction
  • Become an expert in blithequark's product, processes, and systems, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and updates
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and technical support, to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and improve the overall customer experience
  • Seek out opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and improve customer experience, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Work proactively to resolve customer issues, using problem-solving skills and creativity to find solutions that meet the customer's needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in customer support, with at least 2+ years of experience handling email and/or chat services. You will also need to be available to work an overnight shift from 8pm-5am PST, including weekends. A strong understanding of e-commerce and marketplace operations is essential, as well as experience with customer-facing systems like Zendesk, Kustomer, or Intercom.

  • 2+ years of customer support experience handling email and/or chat services
  • Availability to work an overnight shift from 8pm-5am PST, including weekends
  • Understanding of e-commerce and marketplace operations

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Obsession with delivering exceptional customer experiences and a customer-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or college experience preferred
  • Previous start-up experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of collectibles is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and growth
