Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily operations and long-term success of the Merchant Sentiment team, ensuring alignment with blithequark's goals and objectives
  • Managing, guiding, and motivating team members to achieve collective goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Developing and implementing effective problem-solving initiatives, driving continuous improvement and excellence within the team
  • Facilitating in-person 1:1 meetings with direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure their success and growth
  • Connecting with cross-functional partners, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Providing immediate support and problem resolution for team members, addressing concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Nurturing a collaborative, high-talent environment that is aligned with blithequark's goals and values, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and contributions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2+ years of people leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving team success and growth
  • A strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to leadership
  • A passion for developing teams and raising performance to a high talent bar, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and feedback
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, and Workday systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • The ability to be physically present in the blithequark corporate office (in-office days determined by business needs), with a willingness to collaborate and engage with colleagues in person

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze data and drive insights to inform decision-making
  • Project Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard
