The Strategic Planning Senior Principal serves as a trusted advisor and Chief of Staff to the SVP of Health Systems Services (HSS), driving enterprise-level strategic planning, operational excellence, and transformational initiatives. This role is critical in supporting the continued integration of CarepathRx into the HSS portfolio and in fostering synergy across Verity Solutions, Curascript SD, and CarepathRx. The individual will play a pivotal role in aligning strategic priorities, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and accelerating value creation across the HSS ecosystem. Through thought leadership and executional rigor, this role helps shape the future of HSS and its impact across the broader enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Lead the development, evaluation, and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with HSS and enterprise goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on business planning, market analysis, and opportunity assessment.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and frameworks.

Chief of Staff Functions

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the SVP, supporting decision-making, communications, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage executive-level priorities, including preparation for board-level engagements, leadership forums, and enterprise reviews.

Program & Initiative Management

  • Lead cross-functional programs and initiatives that span multiple departments/functions.
  • Ensure timely execution of strategic projects, including resource alignment, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to strategic execution.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across HSS and the enterprise to align on strategic priorities and drive integrated solutions.
  • Represent HSS in enterprise-wide forums and external engagements as a recognized thought leader.
  • Facilitate strategic partnerships and may negotiate terms of agreements with internal and external stakeholders.

Thought Leadership & Expertise

  • Serve as a widely recognized expert in strategic planning, bringing deep insight and innovation to the organization.
  • Mentor and develop talent across the strategy and planning community
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and strategic foresight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business operations, or consulting, ideally within healthcare or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing senior executives.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs and navigating matrixed organizations.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 171,200 - 285,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
