Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Entry Clerk to work with our team in Seattle, WA. As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. This is a contract position with a duration of approximately 1 year, and there is a possibility of permanent hire for candidates who perform well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling documents, including logging them into the system, pulling files, and imaging them
  • Performing other assignments, such as filing, pulling, and managing files for account setup, and uploading documentation to our computer system
  • Proofreading and verifying information keyed to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintaining filing systems and departmental records, both physical and digital
  • Performing other clerical duties as directed by the supervisor or team lead

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter information into our computer system
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a data entry or administrative support role, preferably in a financial or banking environment
  • Knowledge of data entry software and systems, including experience with document imaging and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20 - $20.25 per hour, depending on experience.
