Job Summary

As a Part-time Customer Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the front-end operations of our store, ensuring that every customer interaction is exceptional and every sales floor is visually appealing. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain store recovery standards. Your expertise in customer service, leadership, and operations will be essential in achieving our Brand Promises and delivering a seamless omnichannel experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements

  • Ensure all front-end policies and procedures are followed, achieving your KPIs and managing your team to achieve their role KPIs
  • Plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events in accordance with Company programs
  • Lead the omnichannel processes, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs, maintaining a secure and organized store environment
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities as needed
  • Assist with the onboarding of new Team Members, providing comprehensive training and support
  • Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team (sales floor and cashier) to achieve results, participate in the performance management process, and support Talent Development of your team
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), ensuring the store is running smoothly and efficiently during your shift
  • Interact with customers in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful, even in difficult situations
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions to meet their needs
  • Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes, ensuring truck standards are followed and completed within budget
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, expanding your skills and knowledge in this area

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Retail management experience preferred

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching

Work Environment

* Public retail store setting, with all public areas climate-controlled

  • Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks
  • Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press, with a potential for exposure to these hazards
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings, with a flexible schedule to meet business needs
