Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Prior Authorization Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Entering data from scanned and/or processed images into our data capture system with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Meeting expected hourly production volume goals while maintaining quality levels above minimums set by management
  • Increasing speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice
  • Maintaining awareness of and actively participating in the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly workstation
  • Assisting with other projects as assigned by management
  • Demonstrating excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Working comfortably in a production environment
  • Possessing proficient typing skills (35wpm / 98% accuracy minimum) and excellent organization skills

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in computer knowledge and basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to meet production volume goals and maintain quality standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry and prior authorization processes
  • Certification in medical terminology or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
