Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Efficiently Managing High-Volume Calls: Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, listening actively to understand customer needs and offering clear, accurate information
  • Accessing Cardholder Accounts: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies
  • Processing Transactions: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision
  • Communicating with Customers: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
  • Maintaining Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and client programs, policies, and technology
  • Supporting Team Operations: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a dependable team member with a strong work ethic who values punctuality and can commit to a consistent work schedule, including 100% attendance during our three-to-six-week paid training period. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, able to clearly explain complex information and connect with customers in a professional manner
  • Calm and Composed Professionalism: Ability to navigate challenging conversations with empathy and efficiency
  • Customer Service Enthusiasm: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in navigating multiple screens and applications, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to thrive in a structured, high-volume call center environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at Least 18 Years Old: Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have 6 Months of Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a call center, dispatch, or customer service role
  • Complete a Background Check: Pass a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
  • Meet Internet and Equipment Requirements: Have a verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection, as well as a dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
  • Have a Working Knowledge of Computers and Windows Applications: Be proficient in using computers and Windows applications

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1+ Years of Previous Call Center Experience: Previous experience in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of call center operations and procedures
