Responsibilities

As an Experienced Lockbox Processor (Government) - Scanning and Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting remittances based on standard operating procedures and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Processing and/or reconciling transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining high productivity and quality levels.
  • Ensuring the availability of necessary materials, documentation, and capacity to complete transactions efficiently.
  • Confirming equipment is operational, if applicable, and providing feedback on workflow and work received.
  • Reviewing transactions and related documents to verify work processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • No degree required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • The ability to perform repetitive functions and meet deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills, ensuring high-quality work and minimal errors.
  • Basic ten-key skills and some machine operation may be required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

  • Previous experience in data entry, scanning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
