Job Summary
As a Senior Data Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements, develop and deploy data pipelines, and ensure data quality and security. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, including Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements, develop data pipelines, and ensure data quality and security
- Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Advance data pipelines for execution and cost optimization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements and technologies
- Develop and implement personalization calculations using Python and Pydantic models
- Design and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases
- Use Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data

What You Need to Succeed
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
- Strong focus on health and safety of self, others, and personal data
- Embraces diversity, inclusivity, and different perspectives
What Will Give You an Upper Hand
* 4+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong understanding of AWS local event-driven services
- Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security
- Experience with Python and serverless technologies
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL
- Experience with Amazon Kinesis
