Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer experiences, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and care. This is a remote data entry position, and you will be responsible for working independently to process prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer experiences by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information, medication lists, and inventory levels
  • Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled correctly and efficiently
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and technology
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)

  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and record-keeping

Preferred Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare setting

  • Previous experience with Walgreens or a similar pharmacy chain
  • Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology
  • PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)
