About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Customer Service and Hospitality Manager to join our Hospitality team at blithequark. This role requires approximately 20 hours per week, from 3 pm to 10 pm CST, Monday through Wednesday, with additional opportunities available as our company continues to grow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their safety and security, and managing all aspects of their reservations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service to blithequark guests, responding to their inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Conduct thorough guest screening to ensure safety and security, complying with blithequark and property partner requirements
  • Manage all guest reservations, including booking suggestions, alterations, and cancellations
  • Utilize our digital communication systems to manage guest communications, including messages, emails, calls, and texts
  • Troubleshoot maintenance and technology issues, lockouts, and other guest issues, negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate operational needs with blithequark staff, scheduling and monitoring repairs, maintenance, and turnovers
  • Oversee various other tasks, including serving as a point of contact for property partner communications, managing listing marketing, and analyzing guest reviews to determine opportunities for improvement

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A college diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service presence
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets, word documents, and similar operational software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with a reliable smartphone, computer, and high-speed WiFi connection at all times
  • Ability to respond to messages in 5 minutes or less, with a strong attention to detail and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the hospitality or short-term rental industry
  • Proficiency in digital communication systems and property management software
  • Knowledge of social media management and periodic public relations activities
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
