Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our remote team as an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer calls professionally and responding to inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Providing customers with our service standards and ensuring that they are met
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources
  • Following up on complicated customer calls as required
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in our CRM
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal with proper grammar
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
