Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: You will be responsible for leading and developing your team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: You will be responsible for ensuring that your team is working safely, efficiently, and effectively, and that customer delivery promises are met.
• Collaborate with all support teams: You will work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: You will be required to lift and move packages and equipment, and to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: You will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time during your shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where the noise level can be loud.
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: You will be working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs: You will be required to climb and descend stairs as needed.
