Experienced Senior Manager of Forecasting – Global Customer Service Capacity Planning

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Forecasting to join our Customer Service (CS) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering contact forecasts that drive cost-effective and comprehensive global capacity planning solutions for our CS network. Your expertise will enable us to optimize our resources, improve service levels, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement short-term and long-term contact forecasts using various forecasting techniques across multiple blithequark markets

• Lead a team of analysts and managers spread across multiple countries, ensuring low error contact forecasts to meet service level delivery
• Collaborate with senior CS leadership to identify drivers for forecast variance and participate in strategic long-term planning initiatives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency
• Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in forecasting and planning, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation
• Proven experience managing a team of analytical professionals, including hiring, development, and performance management
• Strong technical skills, including SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner
• Ability to lead successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other business/analytical disciplines

• Experience in forecasting, time-series, and multivariate regression, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling and analysis
• Combination of technical skills and business savvy to interface with all levels and disciplines across the organization
• Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
• Experience using AWS technologies, such as Redshift, S3, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Natural curiosity and desire to learn, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
