Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Typist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering information into database systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Scanning and indexing documents, both physical and electronic
  • Responding to internal and external requests for information in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing various administrative tasks, including data verification and record maintenance
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient data entry processes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Office, typing 40 wpm)
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Certification in data entry or records management
  • Experience with database management software (e.g., SharePoint, FileHold)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements

Technical Skills

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following technical skills:

  • Database management software (e.g., SharePoint, FileHold)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Electronic record-keeping systems
  • Typing speed: 40-60 wpm

Work Environment

As a Remote Data Typist, you will have the flexibility to work from home, with the option to work part-time or full-time. You will be required to meet productivity and quality standards, and you will have access to comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
