Job Description

As a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) / Dental Hygienist (DH) at Heartland Dental, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dental practice. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and oral health.
• Assess patients' oral health and educate them on proper hygiene practices, promoting a culture of prevention and wellness.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed, utilizing your technical skills to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Assist dentists with dental procedures and treatments, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols in the dental office, prioritizing the health and well-being of patients and team members alike.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Active state license as a Dental Hygienist (RDH or DH).
• Proficiency in performing dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing, with a strong understanding of oral health principles and practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members.
