Job Summary

In this full-time remote data entry role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate patient and medication information. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our customers receive the best possible care and support. Key Responsibilities

  • Model and convey a positive and exceptional customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Register sales on assigned sales register, process customer transactions, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist pharmacists, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions
  • Engage with customers and patients, answer questions, and provide information about products and services
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace, including counters, shelves, and inventory
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as processing manual claims, handling customer calls, and maintaining records
  • Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances and other products
  • Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale stock, and complete resets and corrections as directed
  • Assist with food item management, including stock rotation and inventory control
  • Provide customer support in the photo area, including digital photo services and sales of photo products
  • Takes on web order responsibilities, including screening orders, picking items, and delivering orders to customers

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems
  • Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with blithequark or in a pharmacy setting
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our training program
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control systems
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
