Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from customers. You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive solutions to complex healthcare-related issues, including insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a steady volume of incoming calls from customers while navigating multiple systems
- Provide comprehensive solutions to complex healthcare-related issues, including insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges
- Manage multiple calls and emails simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting productivity standards
- Collaborate with our team to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
- High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment required
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Knowledge of healthcare-related issues and terminology
- Certification in customer service or a related field
