About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at Amazon Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in our fulfillment operations, ensuring that customers receive their medications accurately and efficiently.   • Enter prescriptions into our pharmacy filling system with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that customers receive their medications on time.
  • Aid in the onboarding of new customers, including prescription transfers and account setup, to provide a seamless experience.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers, taking the time needed to understand their unique situations and address their concerns.
  • Collaborate with other pharmacy teams, including customer experience, billing, and shipping, to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Work a standard full-time shift of 10 hours, with opportunities for overtime, flexible scheduling, and part-time shifts.
  • Perform physical tasks, such as standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and stretching, as well as lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity of hands and wrists to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet our basic qualifications:

  • An active, in-state pharmacy technician or trainee license.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
  • Current pharmacy experience, which demonstrates your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Compensation and Benefits

We're offering a competitive salary of $17 per hour for Licensed Pharmacy Technicians and $19.05 per hour for Certified Pharmacy Technicians (NHA or PTCB). In addition to your salary, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) savings plan with match.
